I have a similar thing going on. I saw this guy for a while in the summer of 06, got pregnant by him that August then found out around Christmas he was had a financee. Me and her had a big fight a month or so before I had my daughter. Now hes insisting that since hes paying support, he should get visitation. I dont mind him seeing her so much, but I sure don’t want his b**** g/f fiancee whatever to be with my daughter. Since she tried to hurt me before I had her, no telling what she would do with a baby.

If he has visitation I sure the heck hope you get child support- thats one way to make him quit taking the child – get child support and that way he won’t have money to pick up the child!! or he will be so bitter with you – he won’t want to see the child.
Either way- thats one way to keep the child away-
But- I’m sure it is very difficult to hand over your child for visitation – it will get easier. you will get used to it – and if you see the child being okay with it – you will be okay with it.
Some advice – don’t talk bad about the childs dad to him – that doesn’t make it easier on the child – it makes the child feel bad – because that is the same as putting your child down – as much as you are tempted to badmouth – I wouldn’t do it –
Just think – maybe he is doing this visitation to “get to you” .. maybe he is doing it “because he wants to know this child” – either way – there is nothing you can do about it – but, just get used to it. When he takes the child – Just think of it as “me time” for you and your fiance .. use this time to go out – go see a movie – clean the closet – get some household projects done – Embrace it – and pretty soon it will get easier when you have to send her with him.
